  • To date, CDCU of Utah has served more than 4,000 low-to-moderate income families in 125 communities across the state, built nearly 150 new homes and rehabilitated over 300 homes.
  • To date, CDCU of Utah has extended nearly 2,000 down payment assistance (DPA) loans and second mortgages totaling over $5.5 million to approximately 1,700 low- and moderate-income families throughout the state.
  • To date,10 Idea Houses have been completed in partnership with Salt Lake County

             The following are highlights from 2010:

  • 35 homes were sold to first-time homebuyers
  • 4 new ENERGY STAR rated homes were built
  • 30 homes were rehabilitated
  • 324 households attended home buyer education classes
  • 405 households received pre-purchase housing counseling
  • 174 households attended foreclosure prevention classes
  • 552 households received foreclosure mitigation counseling
  • 58 households received down payment assistance 
  • $5,963 was the average amount of down payment assistance received per household
